From Fox attack to Le Mans
Bad News... the local dog fox savaged 3 of our 4 hens, killing 2 outright and leaving the third (Sapphire) for dead - cut bruised and bleeding with lots of feathers missing. We have nursed her back to health and she has started laying again, one very lucky hen.
Managing Director Mike has also finished his charity rides this month. Riding around the coast of Scotland for The Great Tour in support of Prostate Cancer, and the 24hr Le Mans bicycle race with Chris Putman to raise money for the Brighton based Children's Charity, Adventure Unlimited. The intrepid pair finished 7th in the pairs section and rode for the full 24 hours covering 497 miles at an average of 20.7mph.
We are now looking forward to next months Veterinary Anaesthesia meeting on Santorini, see all you gas baggers there!
